Want to propose but..

by Anonymous

I had owned my own business for 6 years as a trade contractor. I've no other training besides that trade I've done for 18 years. I'm half worn out at 37 to the point where it hurts to actually work (push myself to be effective time wise). I have some cash stuff on the horizon but after that i'm not sure what to do honestly. I need to make about 2400/mo to pay bills. That is actually a pretty decent wage hourly and because of my lack of ability to work hard nobody will give me the wage I need. I was dumb when i was young and didn't graduate high school so i can't do a college or anything like that. Even if I could there is just no way to pay for my bills and do school.

"You gave us counseling without making either one of us feel that you were taking sides.
You always maintained your impartiality with us. You encouraged Rita to be more assertive in stating what she wanted to get from your counseling sessions, as well as what she wanted to get from the relationship.
You taught both of us better communication between ourselves, which lead to an emotional comfort level between us that didn't exist before.
You took control of the direction of the session if things were not moving along.
Thanks so much
for helping us."
