marriage worries

I discovered a month ago my wife of 21 years googled "in love with someone else but he doesn't know"- as you can understand i was/am devastated - this man turns out to be an ex boyfriend who is critically ill !-
me and the wife had several deep chats - and somehow it came about that when we were engaged she dragged a man into a toilet - she tells me they only kissed but were disturbed so nothing else happened. can't get it out of my head what she has done all those years ago and most recently . Should i try and forgive
